Foam fire extinguishing agent is a colloidal solution compounded from water with the addition of chemical additives such as surfactants and stabilizers. It is the core supporting material of foam fire extinguishers and is mainly divided into types such as common protein, fluoroprotein, water film-forming (AFFF), and solvent resistance (AR-AFFF). It is respectively adapted to different scenarios such as Class A solid fires and non-polar/polar Class B liquid fires. It achieves asphyxiation isolation through the formation of a foam layer, cooling and temperature reduction through water evaporation, and chemical additives to inhibit the combustion chain reaction. It has the advantages of high fire extinguishing efficiency, good anti-reignition performance, environmental friendliness without residue, and wide application scenarios. When in use, the corresponding model should be selected based on the type of fire. It should be stored in an appropriate temperature environment and the shelf life should be checked regularly. It must not be used for electrical fires (Class E) or fires involving active metals (Class D).

Product Formation

This is a portable foam fire extinguisher, a fire safety device that extinguishes fires by spraying foamy extinguishing agent. Its core working mechanism relies on the dual action of suffocation and cooling:

Suffocation effect: The foam covers the surface of combustibles, blocking contact between oxygen and the fire source;
Cooling effect: Water in the extinguishing agent evaporates to absorb heat, rapidly lowering the temperature of the fire site.

It consists of a pressure-resistant cylinder, foam extinguishing agent (composed of water, surfactants, etc.), a pressure-storage drive system, a pressure indicator, a flexible hose and a nozzle.
