Product Formation
The hose consists of a single layer of woven polyester or polyamide (nylon) jacket on the exterior for strength and durability. Inside this jacket, there is a PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride) lining that comes in direct contact with the water flowing through it.
When water is supplied to the hose under pressure, it flows through the PVC lining, which is designed to be smooth to reduce friction loss and allow for efficient water flow. This lining is also resistant to mildew and mold.
The single jacket design makes the hose lightweight and flexible, allowing firefighters to easily maneuver it to reach the fire or target area.The outer jacket provides protection to the inner PVC lining against abrasion and punctures, ensuring the hose can withstand rough handling during firefighting operations.
Product Features
• Lightweight and flexible: Compared with double-layer water hoses, it is lighter in weight, making it very effortless to move and operate inside the fire scene.
• Easy to maintain: The PVC inner lining is not prone to mold and can be folded up after drying, making maintenance simple.
• High cost-effectiveness: The manufacturing cost is relatively low, economical and practical.
• Poor wear resistance: As it only has a single-layer jacket, it is not suitable for long-distance dragging on rough ground (such as crushed stones or broken glass), otherwise it is prone to damage.
• The high-temperature resistance is average: In extremely high-temperature environments, the PVC inner lining may be damaged.
