Product Formation

Function: The straight hose gate valve is commonly used as an outlet connection for fire hoses in dry standpipe systems, as a test connection for fire pumps, or as part of a roof manifold control unit.
Design: Similar to the single hydrant gate valve, it also features a straightway pattern for the flow of water. The valve is usually equipped with a non-rising stem and a solid wedge disc for effective flow control and sealing.
Application: This type of valve is typically found in dry standpipe systems, where the pipes are not filled with water until needed during a fire event. It is also used for fire pump testing and controlling water flow in roof manifold systems.

1. Material & Pressure Resistance

Body is made of H59/H62 high-copper brass (passivated), withstanding ≥1.6MPa water pressure. Resists erosion, oxidation, and rust for long-term reliability.

2. Flexible Dual-Thread Installation

Interfaces (ISO 228 compliant) use internal & external threads, enabling direct connection to various fire pipes/equipment without extra adapters. Easy to install with excellent sealing.

3. Durable Protective Cover

The outlet has a brass cover (connected by a chain to prevent loss), sealing tightly to keep dust/impurities out. Can be quickly unscrewed in emergencies.

4. Easy Emergency Operation

Red ergonomic handwheel allows quick manual on/off with low torque. The high-fit gate plate ensures low water flow resistance (when fully open) for efficient fire-fighting water supply.
