These types of nozzles are very versatile and can accommodate different sizes of fire hose and fire streams. They can be used for protection and for fire attack. When given the appropriate nozzle pressure and water supply, they are effective for any fire ground situation. It can deliver water, foam, powder or other fire extinguishering substance.
Branch pipe is a specific type of nozzle used by firefighters to douse the fire. Firefighters attach the branch pipe to the end of a fire hose pipe which can be adjusted by hand to shape, regulate and direct the water flow or fire safety agents. Branch Pipe Fire Nozzle has the option of a fog pattern or a straight stream. It can improve surface cooling compared to the full jet. It is usually made of brass or aluminum.
