Production Description

The Flanged OS&Y (Outside Screw and Yoke) Gate Valve takes the exposed rod bracket structure as the core. The valve body is mostly made of ductile iron and cast iron. For high-pressure conditions, carbon steel or stainless steel can be selected. Both ends are connected by flanges, which facilitates a stable connection with the pipeline system.

The core structure includes: ① Exposed stem - The valve stem is not immersed in the medium and rises and falls synchronously with the opening and closing of the valve. The valve opening degree can be visually judged by the position of the stem. ② Bracket - Fixes and protects the valve stem thread to reduce wear; ③ Gate plate - It is divided into two types: soft seal (elastic seat seal, such as EPDM rubber) and metal seal (metal-to-metal bonding), to meet the requirements of different media.

The conventional diameter range is DN50-DN600, the working pressure is PN1.0-PN42.0 (or Class 125-Class 2500), the applicable medium temperature is -20℃ to 425℃ (depending on the material), and it can be adapted to water, sewage, petroleum, neutral industrial fluids, etc.

2.Stable sealing: Soft-seal (elastic seated) achieves zero leakage via rubber deformation, suitable for low-pressure clean media (e.g., drinking water). Metal-seal (metal-to-metal) resists high/low temperatures and wear, 适配 high-temperature/pressure conditions (e.g., steam, hot oil).

3.Secure flange connections: Flange interfaces meet international standards for precise pipeline alignment; bolt-fastened for impact/vibration resistance, ideal for medium/high-pressure (PN16+) or large-diameter (DN200+) systems.

4.Durable & corrosion-resistant: Ductile iron/carbon steel body offers high strength (tensile strength ≥450MPa) with epoxy coating (RAL3000 red/gray) for rust resistance. Stainless steel stems (e.g., SS304) resist media erosion, extending service life.

5.Easy maintenance: Yoke structure protects stem threads for convenient lubrication. Some models allow bonnet removal to replace seals without full valve disassembly, lowering maintenance costs.
