The operator applies a rotational force, and the lug is tightened along the spiral path of the groove, thus making the two coupling surfaces closely adhere and compressing the sealing ring within, ultimately forming a firm and leak-proof connection.

Aluminum Storz Coupling Product Description

Storz couplers are a type of fast-connect/disconnect coupling system. Their most notable feature is the symmetrical design - the two ends of the coupler are exactly the same, without the traditional distinction between male and female. This design achieves connection through interlocking lugs and grooves, and can achieve a safe seal with just ¼ turn (about 90°), significantly enhancing work efficiency.

Aluminum Storz couplings are Storz couplings made of aluminum alloy materials, achieving a good balance among weight, corrosion resistance and cost.
