Victaulic Standard response upper spray and lower spray nozzles V3401/V3405
The upright nozzle (V3401) is suitable for environments without suspended ceilings, exposed pipelines or highly corrosive conditions (such as chemical plants and coastal areas). Its VC-250 coating and high-pressure resistance significantly enhance reliability.
The drooping nozzle (V3405) is suitable for places with suspended ceilings and high aesthetic requirements (such as shopping malls and hospitals), and the decorative cover option can perfectly blend into the architectural style.

Product Formation
Victaulic's ZSTZ20-68℃ V3401 and ZSTX115-68℃ V3405 are both closed glass ball sprinkler heads, suitable for wet automatic sprinkler systems.
(1) Installation direction and splash pan design
V3401 (Upright type) : The water splash tray is facing upwards. After the water is sprayed vertically upwards, it is reflected by the water splash tray to cover the area below. It is suitable for places with high Spaces or where structures such as beams and pipes need to be protected. When installing, make sure there are no obstacles above the nozzle to avoid affecting the water distribution effect.
V3405 (Drooping type) : The splash pan is downward, and the water spray directly covers the area below the nozzle. When combined with the ceiling, the nozzle body can be hidden, with only the splash pan exposed, providing a better aesthetic appearance. It is necessary to pay attention to the size of the ceiling opening (usually 2 inches / 51 millimeters) to match the installation of the sprinkler heads
(2) Coating and corrosion resistance
V3401: Optional VC-250 anti-corrosion coating (special marking required), UL and FM certified, suitable for damp and corrosive environments (such as chemical workshops, coastal areas). If not indicated, the default surface is chrome plating or polyester paint, with medium corrosion resistance.
V3405: Usually comes standard with chrome plating or white polyester paint, suitable for ordinary indoor environments. If anti-corrosion is required, an additional custom-made coating is needed.
