Its core component is a rubber composite disc (manufactured by vulcanizing a steel plate/nylon fabric reinforcing layer with nitrile rubber or EPDM rubber), and it features a cast iron or ductile iron valve body. It boasts low flow resistance, quiet operation, and corrosion resistance.
